FEED 2 Bracelets at Forever 21
Want to mix your love of shopping with a little philanthropy? Purchase a FEED 2 Bracelet ($5) at Forever 21 and the money will provide two school meals for children through the United Nations World Food Programme. Hand-crafted by artisans from Guatemala, the glass-beaded bracelets come in six punchy colors, each representing the country to receive the school meals.
YELLOW represents Sri Lanka, which still suffers from the effects of the 2004 tsunami; BLACK is for two school meals in Kenya, a country with over one million children in the UN World Food Programme; BLUE supports school children in earthquake-ravaged Haiti; RED gives support to Swaziland, the most HIV-prevalent country in the world; GOLD goes to Honduras, home of the world’s third largest school feeding operation; and SILVER serves Pakistan, where recent flooding and earthquakes still affect millions of children.
What better way to channel the spirit of Christmas than to give a gift — to yourself or to a friend — that also does some good.

Edge Up The Prep School Look With a Plaid Blazer
Via our friends at thefind.com:
Plaid has been a casual-wear staple for the last handful of seasons, decking out casual-cute button-up tops, boyfriend-inspired flannels, and cozy wool coats. The result is sometimes slightly western (especially paired with a cute pair of cropped moto boots), or maybe a refined revival of the grunge era when layered and unbuttoned. This season, however, plaid’s going in another direction, going prep-school-cool with buttoned-up (or not) blazers of all shapes and silhouettes! They’ll take you back to your private school days, when you wish you could cut up that boring uniform and turn it into something cool! Stay trimmed and tailored with a shrunken jacket like this one by Eight Sixty, or if you prefer to keep the look slouchy (yet still totally sophisticated!), try this oversized Club Monaco blazer over a pair of winter-friendly shorts and tights or over-the-knee boots! For something a bit funkier, I also love this L.A.M.B. Military Jacket for an on-trend take on the bandleader jacket!
