I’m sooooo not a morning person. But I like Degree, who was hosting a 7am Zumba class at Exhale Spa, so intrigued, I went to Zumba, giggle, learn about the Degree motionSense products, and the motionMiles Get into the Move Challenge.
The deets:
- Register via the Get into the Move Facebook page, (or via your phone at m.degreewomen.com)& you can have a chance to win thousands of prizes! What you do:
- Log your Movements: when you take the stairs, work out, dance, etc via the site, hence earning motionMiles. Earn additional points by entering codes found at partnering locations nationwide, such as 24 Hour Fitness locations. How to get ahead, now:
- Fashion Pulse Daily readers get a unique code, GetMoving034 ,which can enter to help you to earn even more miles (remember, you can redeem these miles to win prizes, such as a surfing trip to Hawaii or shoes!)
- Program ends August 23rd, so…let’s get a move on it!

[Proof I was “zumba-ing”: you can see my bright orange Adidas By Stella McCartney sneaker peeking out!]
And, a bit about the new motionSense Technology products:
These new antiperspirant/deodorants start working when you start to move! Choose from Expert or Clinical Protection Strength, available in three scents, and retailing from $4.16-$12.99.

The new Lower East Side addition (or should I say addiction), the Blake Scotland boutique struck me with a strong urban chic vibe. Blake Scotland wanted her boutique to be a true reflection of the downtown neighborhood, with easy-to-wear and free-spirited items for the fashion forward guy and gal. The store itself is a presentation of beauty from it’s vintage, New York feel to its original brick walls and chandelier-adorned space.
The new boutique carries a variety of brands, including Australian labels Ksubi, Saint Augustine Academy and One Teaspoon. There’s a multitude of options to compliment any wardrobe with popular prints along with edgy and retro pieces. You’ll find deconstructed denim shorts along with dresses and accessories for women that can be worn on the beach and back to the streets. Blake Scotland’s passionate personality has created an atmosphere you’re not going to want to miss. Go ahead; follow the crowd and head downtown to do a little shopping.
