I can gladly announce that the search has ended. The search, that is, for a natural deodorant that really really works – really! Courtesy of the brand, I tested the Lavanila Healthy Deodorant, a 100% natural product, in the Vanilla Lavender scent, (also available in Vanilla Grapefruit, Vanilla Coconut and Vanilla Passion Fruit). So what makes it so great? Well for one, it doesn’t include any bad chemmies, and it works well to mask wetness and odor while nourishing the skin! It’s free of parabens, sulfates, synthetic dyes, petro-chemicals, and phthalates, aluminum and mineral oils. What it DOES have are essential oils and anti-oxidants, including aloe, seaweed, yeast beta glucan, and Goji berry. The scent is light, yet present, and the packaging is the nicest I’ve ever seen from a deodorant!
Lavanila Health Deodorant is available in a variety of scents, PLUS in the essential travel size, mini deodorant .9o oz option at Sephora, ranging in price from $10-$18.

From our friends at thefind.com:
Thinking back to my high school years, Eastpak backpacks were hardly glamorous, unless of course you were one of those statement-making students who rocked one of the neon-hued or vibrant-printed offerings. Overall, they got the job done… until the weight of hauling textbooks back and forth finally caused the nylon shoulder straps to rip and effectively bite the dust (or locker room floor). In short, they were hardly a style staple, but at least they weren’t the social suicide that wheely backpacks were. My school days may have come and gone, but Eastpak certainly still thrives, and the brand’s surprising new art initiative is not only benefitting charity, but it’s also doing some fabulously creative things for their classic backpack. Eastpak has recruited over 130 artists to revamp and redesign their tried-and-true pack, and they’re all up for auction with the proceeds benefitting Designers Against AIDS. Bells, dye, patterns, embellishments galore – would you pay top dollar for these fancified backpacks-turned-works-of-art?

Are you fearful, if not downright paranoid of the “muffin top syndrome”? Don’t worry-there’s an easy solution to get you covered — from the makers of Miss Oops product line comes Johnny on the Spot. Courtesy of the brand we tested one out, which does exactly what it claims to do. The Booty Cover, $17.99 and sold exclusively at Duane Reade, will cover your assets from revealing too much of themselves in low-rise jeans or pants. We love it in black, as it really looks good under everything, and in case you’re in need of some extra camouflage for your cleavage, Johnny’s also got the Bosom Bandeau to aid in that department!
