This spring, Marc Jacobs has teamed up with British artist Julie Verhoeven to create a fashion collaboration, so it only makes sense that the concepts trickle over to the Marc Jacobs Beauty lineup as well. Several limited edition items that pay homage to a psychedelic color palette with pops of primary and pastel colors alike are born via two custom-designed pouches and a covetable box. Inside, you’ll find corresponding products such as the brand’s signature volumizing mascara and gel eyeliner, enamored hi-shine glosses, and enamored hi-shine nail lacquer. See below for links to each of the three extra special combinations from the Marc Jacobs Beauty X Julie Verhoeven Fashion Collection, available for a limited time at Sephora.com, MarcJacobsBeauty.com, MarcJacobs.com, and in-store at Bergdorf Goodman and Neiman Marcus.

I’m thrilled to have once again attended the High Point Market, the largest home furnishings industry trade show in the world, located in High Point, North Carolina. It’s really incredible how trends manage to make their way across categories that are seemingly diverse, like fashion and home décor, but in reality have a lot more in common than they do different! Be it the era that inspiration is derived from, the color, the fabrication, or even overall motif or exotic locale, it’s easier than ever to find parallels between the two, making wearing and living with corresponding concepts quite effortless. Below I’ve listed four trends spotted at the High Point Market that have some evident fashion tie-ins.

Gilded Age
A thin layer of gold provides a gilt look, which was the most common metal hue found on a variety of pieces at the market, ranging from framing to sconces, bar carts and coffee tables alike. From a fashion perspective, the fine, minimalist delicate gold jewelry trend is 100% on par with the Gilded Age aesthetic.

It’s quite possible that
Four Seasons Resort Hualalai is the most relaxing, luxurious, and breathtakingly beautiful resort in all of the Hawaiian islands. It easily accomplishes what any excellent resort should by giving its guests a fulfilling taste of the local culture and natural majesty…without having to step one single foot outside of the property! Geographically located on the
North Kona Coast of Hawaii Island,
Four Seasons Resort Hualalai includes all of the signature elements of this special island, including gorgeous white-sand beaches and the extraordinary black-lava terrain set amid relaxing swimming pools, exciting activities, world-class service, and savory cuisine. After experiencing it myself, it was quite effortless to share five reasons why a stay at Four Seasons Resort Hualalai is not only unique and memorable, but perfectly suited for visitors to Hawaii Island of all ages.

1) Snorkel with a spotted eagle ray (& about 100 other species of fish)!
The King’s Pond, located in the heart of the property boasts a 1.8-million gallon “aquarium” created out of the natural lava rock found all over the island. Utilize the complimentary snorkeling equipment to take in the 4,000 tropical fish from over 98 species which include a spotted eagle ray. Seeing its beauty under water close-up was probably one of the coolest aquatic experiences I’ve ever had (well, perhaps a tie with #2 on the list!), but if snorkeling isn’t your forte or your visiting with young children, the pond tour or daily fish and eagle ray feeding may be more up your alley.
