For most of my life, I’ve only had a handful of watches; that is, until recently. Even though we have smartphones, it’s honestly kinda rude to constantly glance at it for the time, so why not do it stylishly, AND at a price that still comes in cheaper than that aforementioned phone? My shopping guru, Laura at LollieShopping found a bunch of very cool watches from brands that I love, all coming in at under $100. There are a few featured above, but head to her site for all of the details, more styles, and links to buy them,

Bromstad for Naturalizer, Fall 2014 Collection
Animal prints, exotic skins, and renderings are very very hot right now, so it only makes sense that this trend trickles down, literally, to footwear! This week I spent a lovely afternoon with David Bromstad (artist, interior designer, TV personality), celebrating his Bromstad for Naturalizer fall 2014 collection, featuring a mix of cheetah, snow leopard, python, and zebra prints on shoes, handbags, and scarves for the brand. Available now, the footwear ranges from $99-$179, while the scarves and handbags come in at $36 and $119 respectively.
The items were envisioned by garnering inspiration from an original painting created by Bromstad exclusively for the brand that incorporates multiple animal prints in a linear fashion onto canvas (see a portion of it, here).
Courtesy of the brand, I’ve been wearing the Bromstad Tanya (pictured above, left), a gorgeous bootie that features sleek leather on the front, with a cheetah print adorning the heel with N5 Comfort Elements for added cushion, support, and sole flexibility. Some additional styles are featured up top in the collage of the ones I would absolutely love to wear; which one is your favorite?
You can shop the line now at Naturalizer stores, online at Naturalizer.com, and at select retailers nationwide

The Splendor of Huit Lingerie
Glamour doesn’t need to be overt, and it can also be intended for the every day. The most subtle way to incorporate it into your lifestyle is through perfectly-fitted lingerie, which can be just as important to a look as the clothing you are presenting to the world! I was led to Huit several years ago, the French lingerie company that has been around since 1968, which tends to design some of the most contemporary, gorgeously sculpted lingerie and swimwear pieces that I’ve ever seen. Balancing practicality with fashion forward colors, prints, and fabrications, Huit embodies exactly what you’d want from your under garments with a dash of sophistication that can easily be incorporated into your most core, essential needs.
Courtesy of the brand, I reviewed a few pieces from its current collection, including the Fille Unique Bra and Low Waisted Brief in Apricot (pictured above), and the Backstage Noir Half Cup Bra and Thong. I was thoroughly impressed with the small attention to detail that clearly proved why this brand has been such a mainstay for decades, such as the apricot-hued trim and artfully placed lace to lend some visual interest to an otherwise nude foundational garment. In these pieces I FEEL glamorous because they are so, reinforcing a way of thinking about dressing that is oftentimes over looked: sometimes the most majestic garment is the one that goes unseen.
