Perforation has been sitting on the sidelines, waiting patiently for its moment to shine in the spotlight again, and the time has come for it to be called back into action. It’s slowly been popping up in accessories collections and garments, looking quite sophisticated on a leather bomber jacket, and equally as cool on a pair of peep toe booties. As much as I love the hard leather look, softened by the perforated punches, there’s just something about it in suede that sends me into full-on swoon mode. Are you as taken by the perforated look as I am? If so, check out some of my favorite accessory picks above, with links to purchase them below.

The IBX Nail Treatment Works While Your Nails Look Glam
Truth be told, whose nails couldn’t use a little extra nourishment?I know that mine sure could, and that applies to both fingers nails and toe nails (especially the toes!). This week, I tested out a new nail treatment that’s available only in salons as an add-on to your regular polish or gel polish application called IBX System.
It’s a revolutionary pre-manicure treatment that sets and seeps into the nail beds before you have any polish applied (or you can do just the treatment), but it will strengthen weak, brittle, and/or cracked nails and grows out along with your nails. That means that you can repaint your nails, with fab spring polish shade after polish shade, and it’s still underneath it all, actively working.
It includes a patent-pending formula, highlighting the ingredients of avocado and jojoba oils coupled with monomer technology to literally fuse cracked and broken nails together, so you don’t have a painful, accidental rip (ouch!) occur.
It added about 10 minutes onto my manicure, and I placed my hands under a regular lamp for about four minutes to set the heat-activated formulation. You can do follow-up treatments, or just spot-repair on nails that need some extra TLC, especially if you frequently have light-cured gel nail polish applied, or for runners, athletes, or hikers who may have splitting nails or developed weakness from the trauma of the repeated pressure of the action. Results can be visible as soon as after one application, and since I had polish applied to my nails directly afterward, I’m curious to see how my nail beds held up underneath.
IBX is currently available nationwide, and costs $10-20 per application, depending on salon ( I went to Paintbox in NYC); ca;; 1-877-235-1141 or email info@famousnameproducts.com to locate a spa or salon nearest you.
Full Disclosure: Fashion Pulse Daily received a complimentary service in order to test this product.

Monochromatic New Mixes
I’ve always liked monochromatic looks; the difficulty and accomplishment in pairing tops and bottoms, particularly those of different brands, textures, and ages, together, and the overall sophistication of the look, which always reminds me of my time living in Italy and the nonchalance and effortlessness that Italian women seemed to possess when dressed mono chromatically. Knowing me, I ALWAYS have to provide for a pop of color somewhere, and love when I find a new color combination that just seems meant to be. I used to be obsessed with mint, but it seems that my color obsession has evolved into a more mature shade of olive. Green is my mom’s favorite color, so it makes sense that I gravitate toward it as well.
My pops of color are provided in a white handbag and lug sole of my shoes, a purple topper, but my newest and most noteworthy, in my opinion, is an orange-red lip hue I mixed together in order to just try something new. I’ve had the shades resting on my dresser, and thought that individually, they weren’t quite me, but together (orange first then red), they were just perfect. I love when those “aha!” moments happen, especially when they are very spur of the moment, like this one was.
