After suffering from ‘jean bunch’ for way to long (when your jeans get all bunched up in your boots and actually feels majorly uncomfortable/a little painful), I was quite intrigued when I heard about a crafty product called Jean Straps. For $10, you can get a set of stirrups that are removable and adjustable, made to keep your jeans (I also tested corduroys) in place while you want have to do all the creative tucking work to get your boot zipper to actually go up all the way! It’s recommended to put on the straps before you put the jeans on (and remove them before you wash the jeans) but once I was forgetful and did it after the jeans were on (it just took longer). The gals from the company/inventresses Tni Newhoff and Erin Tocalino have been absolutely a pleasure to work with, and I know that the neat little gadget (its foolproof, I promise!) is going to catch on rapidly, so get in on the secret early and skip the sweating, grunts, and gyrations that can come with putting your boots on!
[With the Jean Straps on, my favorite pair of Martin & Osa jeans are easily tucked into my Sorel Hoonah Boots]
I had these in 5th/6th grade…right around the time we were wearing stirrup pants with multiple pairs of bunched up, colored socks, and booties. Everything old IS new again!
This IS a great idea. I purchased a pair from my local horse sports store for less than $4. They are plain black, not cute like yours, but I figure it won’t matter since they’re tucked into my boots anyway.
genius!!!!

how awesome is that?
These is way better than shoving my jeans into my socks! And a great price to boot! 🙂
[…] may remember the post I did about six months ago on JeanStrap, the $10 set of stirrups that are removable and adjustable, in order to keep your jeans in place […]
These sound so great. I have always grumbled about my jeans “puffing up” around the tops of my boots. Grrr…. (I subscribe to your emails and follow on Twitter @mamavalveeta03)
I had a pair of these in the 80’s. Hardly a new invention!
Yes, these ARE a wonderful accessory. Too bad they are a little behind the eightball. Wow, do the jean strap “inventors” think they are being original?? I had these in junior high, and found a pair of these to keep mittens on little kids coats that I’ve been using for my boots the last few years. This is the sad thing about commerce. No has an original idea any anymore.
