From our friends at thefind.com:
As the weather heats up, I’m always looking for stylish yet breathable alternatives to my everyday skinny jeans that still give me a little leg coverage when the occasion at hand doesn’t call for short skirts, shorts, or sundresses. Cropped cargo styles have been growing in popularity in the past couple years, and now the style is getting some ultra-comfy influence from last season’s upscale sweatpants for an overall look that’s surprisingly luxe, but still effortlessly cool. Elastic cuffs emphasize the cropped silhouette (more so than drawstrings), while the slim fit keeps the look sleek and refined while still managing to feel roomy and comfy on those hot summer days! Go for a classic twill pair in tan or dark khaki, or add a little sheen for a night out with a silky pair in olive or black!

Don’t ask me why my mother had me wearing clogs when I was in 3rd grade, but if you had asked my far-less-stylish self back then (or maybe just extremely fashion-forward self) if I thought the shoes I was rockin’ would become cool again within the next 2 decades, I would have thought you were crazy. Leave it to the unpredictability of fashion trends to prove me wrong, because modernized clogs have been having quite the moment for the past year or so. And despite their clunky, chunky stereotype, they’ve proven to be surprisingly versatile to suit the passing seasons. Aside from the classic silhouette, clog booties tore it up during the fall and winter, and now clog-inspired sandals are coming on the scene to sweep up the espadrille competition. Slightly dressier than straw wedges but still undeniably summery and casual-cool, clog sandals are on-trend without being ostentatious or wardrobe-limiting — they go with almost anything!
