I got to see the pieces live, in motion, and up close during an intimate runway show displaying the new men’s and women’s looks of Rock & Republic exclusively at Kohl’s! Besides being slightly mesmerized by the start studded front row, I was able to analyze and scrutinize the collection, and I’ll give you the verdict right now – on the runway, and in hand, the denim looks great! It is certainly a premium product at a value. Intrigued? You can shop Rock & Republic right now at Kohl’s; a quick survey of the women’s denim section saw prices marked down from $55-$68-not too shabby!

Tribal-Inspired Beaded Clutches To Dress Up Your Spring & Summer Looks! (thefind Guest Post)
From our friends at thefind.com:
While your classic black envelope clutch may never go out of style, the warmer months ahead provide the perfect opportunity to amp up your handbag style and have a little fun with colors, patterns, and textures. Think of beaded tribal clutches as the upcoming season’s answer to metallic and sequined bags. Instead of relying on bling, these beaded bags provide an earthy alternative that manage to be glamorous and statement-making without coming off stuffy or overdressed. Pair these beauties with a gorgeous flowing maxidress, your favorite silky sundress, or any of your new spring party ensembles to take you through the hot summer nights out! If you can’t get enough color, this Aztec Beaded Clutch from Nasty Gal and its similar Forever 21 counterpart will certainly turn heads, while this multi-beaded clutch by Ricky Designs plays with different textures and shine. For a more muted take on the trend, this SANTI convertible cross-body/clutch is perfect for jazzing up your trusty little black dress. Looking for a real conversation starter? Check out this Matthew Williamson beaded suede clutch, with pom pom embellishments for extra pizazz!

Which piece is your favorite?

AlexBlake.com Will Satisfy Your Every Hosiery Need
Hosiery can be practical, whimsical, multi-tasking, or warm; depending on your style or needs and the time of year, your demand for the item will certainly vary. AlexBlake.com, the U.S. sister sister of the European MyTights.com has an extensive array of selections (for example, the company supplied the info to us that there are currently 568 hosiery products on sale!!) to satisfy your every want and need when it comes to leg coverage, including categories such as extra tall, plus size, maternity, support, and bridal hosiery.
The site mixes in hard to find European favorites like Pretty Polly (my new favorite!), Jonathan Aston, Emilio Cavallini (another one of my faves!), Trasparenze with tried and true favorites such as Hue, Donna Karan, Calvin Klein, and Hanes. Courtesy of the site, I tried the Pretty Polly tights and House of Holland tights, which I had only read about and had searched for in the past, without any luck of actually making a purchase. The tights were all that I had built them up to be in my mind, provoking gushing and comments from everyone who noticed them thanks to their eyecatching inlaid designs as well as 3-D detailing like affixed sequins and bows!
Not sure what to get? Check out AlexBlake’s advice pages or take advantage of the personal advice option by phone or email. While the weather is still cold and blustery, you might as well stock up on some tights!
