Honestly , I couldn’t take wearing my winter puffer one more day! The alternative? A heavy duty layering effect instead, comprised of puffy vest, denim moto jacket, hoodie, and a long sleeve shirt. At least the sun was shining, which was definitely helpful in ditching my coat for the day; I am still truly looking forward to the day when this season is over, and I celebrate by dry cleaning and storing my heavy winter coat, which has gotten more play this season than ever!
Are you enthusiastically looking forward to the end of the winter season too?

Day 7!!! I finally felt well enough to ditch my glasses for the day, running all over the town to cover a bevy of backstage beauty looks, and doubling up on my jackets, because it is literally so cold outside, that it cuts through everything! Despite the frigid temperatures, ice, and snow on the ground, I’ve also had a cold ALL of fashion week, but with lots of vitamin C, I’m thinking I’m on the mend. I layered my J.Crew wool sweater underneath of my top for added warmth, and also worked a new bag into the fashion week outfit rotation – an Alexander Wang Rockie Crossbody Satchel look-a-like (everyone keeps thinking it’s the real deal!) for just $29.99 at T.J.Maxx — score!
Here’s what I wore on Day 6:
The clothes:
Gap Motorcycle Jacket
Le Tote Carnaby Mod Blouse (courtesy of the brand)
J.Crew Merino Wool Crew Neck Sweater
Club Monaco Moto Zip Pants
Fit to Flick Beanie (courtesy of the brand)
