Lanvin Introduces its New Fragrance, Éclat de Fleurs

Recently Lanvin unveiled its newest and arguably best yet fragrance, Éclat de Fleurs, which epitomizes femininity with both floral and fruity notes. FPD took in the featured and most prominent scent elements at the launch event last week, which include pear, a bouquet of flowers, white musk, and sandalwood. This fragrance follows the 2002 release of Eclat de Arpège, inspire by the bond between house founder Jeanne Lanvin and her daughter.

This previous fragrance was used as further inspiration for Éclat de Fleurs, which is described by the brand as “feminine, fresh, and spontaneous, that gives off both lightness and joy.” The aim is to give the impression of a sunny spring afternoon, which it certainly does, in full sensory aromas. The bottle features a carved out flower, resembling the marguerite, which is also the name of Jeanne Lanvin’s daughter. The fragrance is priced at $82 for the 1.7 oz. size, and $105 for the 3.3 oz., and is available now exclusively at Nordstrom.

The One Step Gel Polish combines the base, color, and top coat, which is followed by curing the manicure with the Professional LED Light. The light is foldable and compact, perfect for traveling and convenience. The polish comes in 12 colors, from subtle to bright, and can last for up to two weeks.

Each set comes complete with manicure sticks and a sample of the Nail Guard 3-in-1 Protective Nail Strips. With the Nail Guard peel off base coat, you can strengthen your natural nails, and easily peel off any manicure in seconds. Each polish color retails at $11, and the Professional LED Light is $40. I would definitely described myself as a Zoolander superfan, and so with the anticipation building for the nationwide release of the Zoolander 2 film today, what better way to celebrate than with combining an incredibly good-looking, synergistic team up of fashion and beauty? The Derek Zoolander Center For People Who Don’t Age Good is a partnership of the film with Kiehl’s, featuring a variety of Zoolander-themed activations featuring the brand’s skincare products in a 6.5 step process. Located at 77 Eighth Avenue (on the corner of 14^th Street) now through Saturday at 6pm, the “center” is open to the public to experience Kiehl’s items with two exclusive gift sets in honor of film, including “The Ridiculously Youthful Collection” unisex anti-aging kit ($26) and “The Blue Kiehl” men’s kit ($25). These are available at select Kiehl’s locations globally and online as well.

A perk of the job is certainly being among the first to test a new product when it launches, which was recently the case for two of IT Cosmetics’ new launches: Confidence in a Cream Transforming Moisturizing Super Cream($48), and Superhero Elastic Stretch Volumizing Mascara ($24).
