Last week Fashion Pulse Daily had the pleasure of checking out the fall/holiday Collection for Nine West and must say it was absolutely fabulous! Held in the penthouse of the uber-chic New Museum on the Bowery, the collection displayed the perfect combination of colors and fabrications for fall. Broken out into trend displays that showed menswear-inspired pieces, cut-out details, lovely leather gloves, handbags, jewelry, and apparel, we were certainly impressed with the brand’s new rollout. Three exciting items to note are: the brand new apparel collection (featuring chunky sweaters and amazing printed leggings), the New Balance/Nine West collaboration in retro-fab colors, and the Vintage America collection which will surface in stores this fall. See below for a sneak peak at the upcoming styles!

Dear Readers,
I apologize for the two-day lapse in posts; my internet connection completely died on me, and I went away this weekend, to a place where I couldn’t get into a wifi network! Have no fear – as of today, Fashion Pulse Daily is back with the posts.
Thanks for all of your support!

The Go Green Tote is not only adorable with it’s color scheme and jumbled-up letters, but if you buy it for $1.75, Forever 21 will have a tree planted on your behalf. It’s a pretty easy, fashion-forward way to celebrate Arbor Day (belated, it was April 24th). And hey, it also can double as a cheap, thoughtful Mother’s Day gift, right?

Via our friends at Lollie Shopping:
When the boyfriend jean first hit the scene and Katie Holmes and Reese Witherspoon were sporting the look around L.A., I just wasn’t digging it. Sure I loved the idea of a loose-fitting jean, but this new trend was coming off as just plain sloppy, as far as I was concerned. Maybe skinny girls who wear a size 2 can get away with sloppy, but we everyday women with hips and curves can’t get away with sloppy. On us, sloppy looks frumpy.
That’s why I’m so grateful for the new evolution of the boyfriend jean, still relaxed but with a more tailored fit and narrower legs. I like to call this version Boyfriend 2.0. And while I first discovered it at Shopbop in the form of Genetic Denim’s Davis Slouchy Cigarette Jean, I also found a similar style at Express called Boyfriend Jean – Hail Destroyed. Either jean is bound to give you a more refined look while maintaining a chic edge.
