Cynthia Vincent is creating a limited-edition footwear collection for the mega-retailer. The Cynthia Vincent for Target collection will be available at Target stores nationwide and online at Target.com April 18 through July 1, 2010. Select styles available exclusively on Target.com.

A limited edition hat collection is on its way from Eugenia Kim! The Eugenia Kim for Target collection will be available at select Target stores nationwide and online at Target.com from April 18 through June 20, 2010.

Saks Fifth Avenue & Windows 7 Partner for the Holidays

Both inside and outside, Windows 7 can be found at the flagship Saks Fifth Avenue this holiday season? What exactly am I talking about? I’ll explain — in several areas throughout the store, including the shoe floor, Windows 7 has created lounges to surf the web and watch TV, as well as send holiday tweets via the Windows 7 operating system that are then displayed in the store windows of Saks! It’s a new concept, and true way to make the windows interactive, as well as inclusive of the customers!

Yuli Ziv of MyItThings and I had the opportunity to preview the lounge and learn more about the new collaboration, as well as get a sneak peak at the windows before they opened to the public! For the unveiling, Broadway singing star Kristin Chenoweth performed, and Steve Sadove, CEO & chairman of Saks, as well as Kathleen Hall, general manager of Windows 7 marketing and Microsoft were on hand for the event. After Black Friday comes first Cyber Monday, and of course, there are deals to be had. So whether you are spending that Monday at home or in the office, login, take advantage of the specials and save, save, save. Here are a few tips and links to websites to help make your first Cyber Monday easy and rewarding.

Tips:
1. Create a list of what you need to shop for.
2. Create a budget. What’s the most you’re willing to pay for the items on your list? Aim low so you can save the most money.
3. Come up with a shopping strategy before Monday. Only shop sites with a secure checkout.
4. Come Cyber Monday, stick with the plan. Don’t sell yourself short. If you want to pay only $20 for a blouse for your mom, don’t back down. If you can’t find it for $20 online, you will in-store.
5. Keep in mind each retailer’s return policy, just in case.
6. After you’ve made all your purchases, keep an eye on your credit card statement. Make sure there are no unauthorized purchases, and if you find anything that looks suspicious, contact your bank right away.
