Not everyone has been “x’ed” off of our gift list yet, so in order to provide some cute gift ideas for readers in the same boat as us, we found this Little Birch Jewelry Stand, $32 at Urban Outfitters.
Who couldn’t use a cool way to display their necklaces? FPD Editor Julia DiNardo has one and loves it, so we thought it just may be a nice recommendation! It’s available in antique brass or silver. Add $5.95 for s&h.

Sometimes, you just have no idea what kind of gift to buy for certain people. Or, you need to have a “back-up gift” or two in case someone gets something for you, but you didn’t quite have them on your list. We like this whimsical, humorous porcelain Carton Vase, $6.95 at CB2.
We think it will definitely evoke a smile or two, and get bonus points by adding in some real flowersl!

Sweet rosettes, both tiny and over sized, have been spotted on everything from winter floral dresses to rings, necklaces, and earrings. We’ve been spotted rocking rosettes for quite some time now, but can always add more to the collection. It was quite wise and stylish of Forever 21 to combine the rose trend with one of the hottest colors of the season, mustard, in these Rose Cut Stud Earrings, for a mere $3.80. If you want to get all matchy-matchy on us, don’t miss the Rosebud Ring for $2.80.

From Russia (and Paris), with Love — Karl Lagerfeld readily admits his Russian inspirations for this pre-fall collection: the Ballets Russes, Constructivism, Byzantine jewelry, and Slavic folklore. Aptly named “Paris-Moscou”, the collection was full of red, over-the-top furs and embellishments, leather leggings, and fringe. I absolutely was fascinated by the amazing headresses and thrilled with the revival of muffs.
Although it was nearly impossible to pick one look as my favorite, I ended up going with the show-closer, this amazing dress and head piece that succinctly melded several different trends of the collection into one. I loved the way the scalloped layers of the bodice appeared to be breaking away from the ombre portion of the dress.
