This past week Nicole Miller has added to her lifestyle offerings with a new fine jewelry line via her nicole by Nicole Miller at JCPenney. Featuring her signature Celtic knot designs, the items range from $127.99 to $754.99. Says Miller,“I wanted to create a fine jewelry collection that was sophisticated yet effortless and falls somewhere between evening and casual. I love the versatility of the jewelry – it allows you to go anywhere.” Our favorite piece from the collection, the nicole by Nicole Miller Celtic Diamond Earrings are pictured above.

Does it seem like a strange idea? I mean, you do a lot of other socializing and networking via the massive social network, so why not reap profesioanl benefits as well? BeKnown, a new Facebook app from Monster.com, helps to connect people who might want to get into an industry without knowing many professionals in that area. It’s currently one of the top five fastest growing Facebook applications by monthly active users, and the only way to know if it will work for you is to check it out! I just signed up for an account and searched ‘fashion’ and found a bunch of listings from Bloomingdale’s Macy’s, ModCloth, Nordstrom, and others. It took me about three minutes to set up the account; pretty easy right?Let me know if you’ve tried it and share your experience in the comments below.

I have chills! Why, you ask? BECAUSE…I just found another amazing eco-label called Eairth. But, you probably figured that out based on the above.
Created by New York Designer Melissa Dizon, Eairth introduced its first line in 2007 and is made from organic materials such as pina, abaca, silk, cotton and wool and harvested by indigenous tribes. The line uses pigments from ingredients like coconut husk, talisay leaves, and indigo and the fabrics are hand-woven made in old-style looms.
