There’s certainly nothing pretty about having a cold; the red, irritated face from blowing the nose and the ultra chapped lips from the heavy breathing at night and generally grossness associated with the common cold. Since I was in such a state this weekend, it came to be the perfect time to pull the FixMySkin balms out of my “to review” bin and give ’em a good old a test run. Just because it’s cold outside doesn’t mean you’re going to stop using your electronics enroute to school, work, or out for the night; if anything, you’re finger(s) will momentarily get frostbite as you remove a glove or mitten to operate your phone. I recently received a pair of the Leto Sensor Touch by Grandoe Gloves ($40), compatible with touchscreen device including Smartphones, E-Reader, tablets, MP3 players, ATM’s, fuel pumps, and GPS devices.
The gloves have a snug fit, which helps the Knit Fingertip Technology to allow the fingertips and thumbs to easily navigate through the screens of whichever object you need to touch. What I like most about these gloves is that it isn’t obvious that they’re designated for touchscreens, or are missing the fingertips altogether in order to function.
