Essie Sleek Stick Collection Nail Wraps for Summer 2013

Everybody loves Essie, so it comes as no surprise that it did it again with an awesome collection for the season! The second iteration of the brand’s nail wraps retail for $9.99 per set and come in six new patterns and textures that are guaranteed to fit right in with summer weddings and parties. I keep a set in my desk drawer in case something last minute comes up and my nails are bare.

Couture De Minnie by OPI

The Disney and OPI nail polish collab has resulted in five shades that take a whole approach to classic red, pink, and sparkles. Pictured here is the OPI “Magazine Cover Mouse,” a red shade from the Liquid Sand line that infuses the shade  with red,  gold and pink sparkles, which is pretty saturated and can be worn without any other polish underneath. Garnier’s New Skincare Product Launches for July 2013

Aging is an inevitable part of life, but Garnier has got your back with a trio  of new products that will keep you looking your best as time goes on. the Skin Renew Dark Spot Treatment Mask is a 10 minute tissue mask, made popular in Asia that includes Vitamin C to fade dark spots and match up uneven skin tone while it hydrates and protects. Each kit will retail for $16.99 and includes six masks. The Garnier Skin Renew Miracle Skin Perfector Anti-Aging BB Cream includes all of the signature BB goodness of hydration, SPF, and even tone, and now reduces wrinkles in its wake.  It has mineral pigments, is oil-free, and currently available in the shades of light/medium and medium/deep (and will retail for $12.99). Last, the Garnier Skin Renew Dark Spot Hand Treatment fades dark spots while brightening skin with noticeably different skin in four weeks time! This product also includes Vitamin C with a boost of SPF 30 and will retail for $7.99.

Redken’s Latest Hair Care Launch for Men

My poor brother and I were not blessed with my Dad’s thick, curly Italian locks of hair, but rather took after our mother with light, limp, fine (err delicate) tresses. Intermix 20th Anniversary Party & Exclusive Collection

I was honored to raise a glass in celebration of 20 years in business with Intermix and its new Bowery store opening at The New Museum in NYC, which featured fashionable, exclusive pieces from a bevy of designers (available for purchase now), as well as a private performance by Solange. Intermix is known for it’s innovative merchandising technique of breaking apart traditional collections by designer, and pairing, or rather, styling them, with what looks best. Both emerging and established designers sell at the stores, and for the special 20th Anniversary Collection, some of my favorite pieces include this white Helmut Lang leather jacket and Sergio Rossi red pumps.
