I’ve been a patron of completey bare‘s waxing services for a number of years, and was thrilled to hear about, and try, their dedicated servies to all things eyebrow-related. THE BROWSHOP, a collaboration between celeb eyebrow stylist Joey Healy and completely bare founder Cindy Barshop, offers brow grooming via highly trained specialists dedicated to brows only, which this September, became available at its Bond Street and Fifth Avenue locations.

Joey Healy, whose clients include Kyra Sedgwick, Bethany Frankel, and Bebe Neuwirth, created THE BROWSHOP Calibration, which is a tool similar to those rulers used in the geometry, for his specialists to handle and execute the perfect brows for each individual client. Clients can choose from one of three options: Eyebrow Shaping ($55), Eyebrow Tinting ($35), or Eyebrow Blueprint ($75), to achieve a finished look that includes trimming, tweezing, and setting with powder, or pencils (called Stylos at completely bare), walking away with an Eyebrow Calibration Card that mimics each individual’s design with easy, with alphabetical points to follow for careful AND carefree upkeep and follow-along between appointments (see below).

The Show: Burberry Prorsum
The Theme: A Softening of Shape and Color
The Color Palette: Pale & pastels shades of Blue, Grey, Yellow, Mint, Pink, Turquoise and Khaki
The Collection’s Signature, Standout Look: True to form for spring 2014, there has been an incredibly softening of silhouette and color, with proportions, especially in jackets, expanding, and Burberry Prorsum is no exception. The execution is spot-on, while handcrafted, heavy embellishments (as found on this jacket) and ultra sheer layers give a fresh, and slightly subversive approach to this modern take on the season’s trends.

From our friends at thefind.com:
Though much of Phillip Lim’s highly-anticipated collection for Target is long gone by now (*shakes fist*), there’s still plenty of buzz surrounding one of the megastore’s most successful collaborations yet. I’ll be honest – I often flock to the stores (or to the Target site at midnight from the comfort of my own bed) to shop the designer capsule collections just for the sake of doing so – from Rodarte to Jason Wu, Prabal Gurung and coming in February 2014, Peter Pilotto! beyond – even when I don’t even want the pieces that badly!
But Target’s take on 3.1 Phillip Lim was definitely an exception. It was probably one of the most similar bargain-friendly takes on the “real thing” in the history of Target collabos, from the near-replica Pashli-inspired bags to the color-detailed trenches, and of course, the comic book sweaters! The bad news is: a) your likeliest chance of getting your hands on the ridiculously cute Target “Boom” is probably on eBay, and b) a main-line 3.1 Phillip Lim sweater will set you back a healthy $500 or more. The good news? You can still find plenty of on-trend, affordable comic book-inspired pieces at Forever 21! Seriously, though!
Did you get your hands on any of the highly-coveted 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target goodies? Let us know in the comments below!
