I’ve learned the hard way that when it comes to makeup removers, there can be quite a bit of variance in the end result. Since most of these are liquid, I recommend using a simple cotton round pad, preferably also proven to be hypoallergenic like this one from Target for use in removal. This flat yet absorbent shape can target and canvas your makeup in one fell swoop much easier than a cotton ball, which can encourage more rubbing that can lead to irritation.
