Great style and exceptional value is certainly a win-win scenario, and JCPenney has certainly hit the nail on the head with its array of styles for spring 2015. Per usual, I heavily focused on the accessories across it’s design and in-house brands, with some eye-catching printed blouses and home furnishings worth a mention. See the slideshow above for some of my top picks, which include Nicole by Nicole Miller, a.n.a, i heart ronson, and l’amour by Nanette Lepore, to name a few. If you’re in the mood to shop sooner than later or need to get a jump start on the holiday shopping, reference JCPenney’s “gift by price” assortment, where you’ll be sure to find something for everybody on your list!

Slowly, I’ve been seeing a large, oversized, all-neck consuming style of necklaces that…feels so opulent and modern. I’m really loving the options found, and although they aren’t the most affordable of neck pieces, if you define “getting your money’s worth” based on the amount of you compliments you will receive, then I think it may be actually be a bargain! I’m really into the crystal versions, but take pleasure in the unique stones and darkened hues as well. The bib style has apparently been quietly plotting it’s comeback since the mid-2000s, and now, it has certainly arrived!

There are products that are helpful, and then those that are perfect in every way. You will wan to mark the calendar for December 1st, as Unilever’s new line of 48-our dry spray antiperspirants can be filed into the latter category, and are hitting the US market on that date. You’ll find the sprays across five brands: AXE, Degree Women, Degree Men, Dove Men + Care, and Dove found in slender aluminum cans that go on easy peasy, dry quickly without residue, smell great, and are highly EFFECTIVE.
Retailing from $4.99-$5.49 each (merchandised together and available at mass food and drug retailers nationwide) the proprietary, signature characteristics of each brand’s existing antiperspirant/deodorants are infused into the formula, like Degree’s MOTIONSENSE Technology, and Dove’s 1/4 moisturizing technology. Each brand also has 4-6 scents to choose from, and for the most part you will be familiar with them, since most are already found in their other products.
Although this may be new territory for the US, the Dove sprays have been available in other countries for a handful of years, and I have (proudly) been obsessed with them since I bought my first one in Italy in 2007. No longer will I have to beg the next person I know going there to bring back as many as they can carry for me! I’m certainly a Dove loyalist, and can vouch for how awesome its Dry Spray is, but I’m sure that the others are just as good; which brand and scent will you be trying this December?

I don’t know what it is exactly about this fall/winter season, but for the first time ever, I’ve fallen head over heels for faux fur accessories. A source of warmth and comfort, there’s no denying their practicality in boots, however with handbags and jewelry, the reasoning behind it falls into a purely aesthetic category. Still, I am taken with the fuzzy stuff, especially when the hue is a bit of an ombre mix, as seen on my booties, above and below.

I’ve been thinking a lot about how to mix and match them with existing pieces in your wardrobe, and it really comes down to three elements:
1) Pick one color found in the faux fur and let that be your leading shade that will string the rest of your cold weather, layered look together
