Wearing head-to-toe white is one of the most sophisticated looks that you can accomplish to elevate your style without trying very hard; in fact, the only thing you actually need to do is make sure that you don’t get any scuffs or stains on your white apparel! Wearing white only in the summer is such an outdated notion that with a few easy items to consider, can transition white what you need it to be all year long. The easiest way to start is with accessories; see how it feels to participate in the look via a handbag, a pair of shoes, jewelry, or bag. Next up: let’s try winter white! The It Accessory: The Adidas Gazelle
Gosh, the adidas Gazelle is such a cool sneaker! I’ve now owned two pairs in my lifetime, and in my opinion, they just look utterly sleek and sophisticated, all of the time. See here for how I styled them in late 2014, and above for some great color combinations. Beauty Tuesday: Jane Iredale HandDrink Hand Cream
I like to keep things light, a little humorous, and stay away from getting too preachy here at Fashion Pulse Daily, but I must emphasize how important it is to protect our hands! Hands very honestly show the signs of aging, and it is very, very difficult to conceal or alter that. Look at Madonna, who is rarely seen in public without a glove, be it a very cool one, perfectly fitted to her hands. A cool look? Perhaps, but I bet it has more to do with aging hands than a fashion statement.
You’re probably in the habit now of using a moisturizer paired with an SPF for your face year ’round, but it’s about time we started to give our hands the same respect, not only when we venture outdoors, but when we subject ourselves to other kinds of rays, such as the UV or LED lights used to cure gel manicures. Jane Idedale’s HandDrink Hand Cream ($29) is an easily blendable, creamy formula that includes SPF 15 broad spectrum sunscreen coupled with organic rose essential oils for moisture and fragrance, while apple extract adds a brightening and even effect to the skin tone. While only a dab is needed to thoroughly saturate the skin, it leaves a smooth, quick drying finish and additionally has green tea and blackberry extracts for antioxidant protection.
Unfortunately, hand cream with SPF is still a rare find these days, but with a focus toward natural skin care and providing a barrier against cancer constantly in mind, Jane Iredale is certainly making your hand health a top priority with it’s new HandDrink (available at JaneIredale.com and slect skin care specialists and beauty locations worldwide).
