The eyes have it this summer with Maybelline New York, offering a handful of great new products to intensify, illuminate, define, and perfect. The brand new products, which include Instant Age Rewind The Eraser Dark Circles Treatment Concealer, Color Explosion Eyeshadow, Master Drama Cream Pencil, and Falsies Flared by Volum’ Express hit shelves in July, so keep on the look out!
(and, we still have the Maybelline products giveaway going on right now – including the new Falsies Flared!)
I am absolutely loving:

Instant Age Rewind The Eraser Dark Circles Treatment Concealer – it has a soft rounded sponge on the end (the micro-corrector applicator) that yields a super gentle, and thorough application. It is a heavy contender in permanently replacing my current under eye concealer. It contains haloxyl, which absorbs and eliminates pigment, and goji berry which is chalk full of amino acids. Retailing for $9.99, its available in four shades as well as a neutralizer for deeper, dark circles.

EYE STUDIO Color Explosion Luminizing Eyeshadow – the color palettes (five available) are just simply mesmerizing! The amino-acid coated pigments give an intense color to give the eyes incredible light, offering four colors in each palette plus one topcoat to further accentuate the shimmer. My favorites are Blue Blowout and Amethyst Ablazed, and will retail for $10.99.

Most of my clothes go to the dry cleaning for one main reason: they stink! I rarely ever get stains on my clothes, but after one to two wears, I can’t bare to wear my top, sweater, or dress again. Sorry if that’s too much info, but hopefully some of you can relate! I recently was sent 1-2 Dry underarm pads to test, which does away with frequent dry cleaning drop offs and extends the longevity of your garment wear. I tested out these pads inside of a cashmere sweater I wear to work, as well as on the inside of my t-shirt when I went bike riding in a “nice” tee.

Taking in the upcoming Holiday/Resort collections from Malandrino and Catherine Malandrino made me want to simultaneously head out of town for a tropical getaway and get all dolled up for a formal cocktail affair. Ripe with the designer’s signatures such as longer lengths, crotchet, jumpsuits, and impeccably tailored dresses, it was certainly a treat to experience the clothes in all of their tangible perfection while the designer oversaw the nearby photoshoot, of which the images are found here.
Both collection stories (“Baccarat” and “Mikado”) allude to travel, particularly in movement between Paris and New York, suggesting that both the Malandrino and Catherine Malandrino ladies do have some crossover – perhaps in their loves of travel, culture, and cuisine?
