A Birthday Tribute to Fashion Pulse Mom
Fashion Pulse Mom-with Mario Cantone!
Gallivanting around New York Fashion Week, attending movies premieres, fashion events, reviewing products, confiscating freebies, and running a ton of errands for her daughter — it’s not a typical day for a Mom, but could be for Fashion Pulse Mom when she is in New York City visiting me! I have luckily inherited her innate sense of style and penchant for a great bargain, but wouldn’t be who I am today with my Mom. As it is her birthday, and she has made me, and hence Fashion Pulse Daily, what it is, I hope you don’t mind if I give her a little shout out on her special day. There are plenty of gifts I could lavish upon her, and will definitely do a bit of that, however no gift, from a daughter to a mother, is more valuable than one of respect, recognition, and admiration. Thanks Fashion Pulse Mom, for instilling many things in me, more than just a fashion sense, and I am glad to be celebrating your special day with you, as you have always been there for me!

Allegri Debuts At New York Fashion Week
Allegri, an Italian outerwear brand, made its first appearance in New York City at Fashion Week this season. Allegri was the only outdoor show and revealed their stunning Fall/Winter 2011 collection amidst images of the brand’s history, and Italy’s top selling Allegri umbrellas carefully suspended from above. The looks Allegri presented were innovative, crisp, and were made from some of the most technologically advanced outerwear fabrics available – Techno Wool, Water Repellent Moleskin, Teflon Flannel, and even Waterproof Cashmere (yes, you read that right!). Allegri is a company that prides itself on creative craftsmanship while keeping a keen eye on the technological advances within the textile industry. Their first debut in New York? We would have to say a for-certain success.

Lia Sophia Jewelry: A Direct Approach
I can’t believe that prior to attending the lia sophia suite during New York Fashion Week that I knew little to nothing about the worldwide company that sells its jewelry only through Independent Advisors. Upon checking out the latest offerings, I realized there were a ton of fashion forward selections at affordable price points. I was given the opportunity to choose something for the taking, and went with the Cone Bracelet along with these Standing Ovation Earrings (both pictured) as lately I have found classy hoops irresistible.
