My Mother and I are both obsessed with these layered ruffle, tap-shoe style heels. I went on a quest to find them, and stumbled upon two pairs, at two different price points, that were absolutely identical. Naturally, I would opt for the less expensive pair — but can you tell which one that is — Shoe A or Shoe B? The answer will be revealed via an updated post tomorrow!
UPDATE: The more expensive shoe is “Shoe B” — could you tell?
More info:
Shoe A: American Eagle Patent Krystal Ruffle Pumps $27.99
at Payless
Shoe B: Jeffrey Campbell Frill Heels $89.99 (was $128) at Urban Outfitters.

I’ve been on the search for cute boyfriend jeans. Ok ok I know, it may sound like an oxymoron since their supposed to be rugged and baggy, but still — humor me. After looking at many retailers’ versions of boyfriend jeans, I’ve settled on the Charlie Low-Rise Boyfriend Jean, for $49.50 at deLiA’s.
It has the right worn in details, the perfect shade of blue denim, and the slouch fit that can be balanced out by a fitted button-down shirt or tee. Plus, right now its buy one pair of jeans, get one 50% off at deLiA’s, and don’t forget to search for a coupon code to also apply to your order, like “WINTER”, which will get you 15% off your order. Not too shabby!

If the house of Celine has anything to do with it, gradient colors are sticking around through Spring/Summer 2009. This stunning blue dress blends the colors perfectly, and juxtaposes soft and hard elements via the light fillmy layers of the dress paired with a futuristic belt tightly clasped around the waist. Something of a similar nature to the belt would have given the neckline a boost in my opinion, but otherwise the dress is a real stunner.

Forgot about black or brown shoes for the rest of the season; spruce things up a bit with these teal cut-out heels –the Seychelles Compliment Shoe, $90 at jbandMe.com. Pair these suede vintage-inspired pumps with some black or whtie opaque tights, a pencil or mini skirt, and a bow-tie blouse.
