The Tory Burch denim look FPD styled with fall items
Tuesday night I went to the Tory Burch boutque in the Meatpacking District to check out the new fall denim collection and to participate in the Denim Style Challenge. I styled a look, and the look that gets the most votes, wins! I’d love for you to vote for my look (but only if you like it, of course!)

The Tory Burch presentation was nothing short of fabulous; the accessories and footwear were classic Tory with a slight edge — in fact everything this season seemed to skew a bit more subversive than the squeaky clean prints and well-matched style we are used to from here. Case in point – leather shorts, perforated tops and workwear -inspired lace-up boots. Each item was refined for that Tory girl that needs to dazzle in the evening, and use color for day to define her finely-tuned fashion sense.

The Tory Burch 9am presentation was the most crowded I’ve ever seen an event at that hour in the morning during fashion week! I do have to say it was worth skipping out on a little extra sleep; the clothes were easy to wear and effortlessly chic, the bags were a major must-have, and the vibe was celebratory and sweet. Expect an American sportswear collection for the spring from Tory, with sizzling add-ons such as sequins, tie-dye, and out-of-this-world florals.
Tunics are a staple for warm weather dressing. Maintain an air of classic cool even when the humidity is taking a toll. Simply pair a tunic blouse with white capris or shorts and you are ready to face the sweltering hot weather in style. Designer Tory Burch does tunics with a keen sense of grown up style.
