The Kickoff of Fashion Week: Geren Ford S/S 09 at the Bowery Hotel

We’ve been a fan of Geren Ford designer Geren Lockhart for some time now, and didn’t think we could get any happier than we were with her recent Hawks by Geren Ford for Urban Outfitters. The new s/s ’09 collection aimed to please sportswear lovers, and most certainly hit the mark with a preppy color palette, short shorts, and silky fabrics. The vibe was definitely J.Crew meets Built by Wendy, and we would love to possess every item, including the clutches and footwear!

We absolutely love this fabulously mod Marc by Marc Jacobs Cocktail Ring with hinge details for $33.90 (was $58).

Unfortunately, there’s only one size left (medium/large), but that won’t deter us–we recommend buying a packet of assorted size ring guards for $5.99 to do the trick!

Score! Gola Collaborates with Christian Lacroix

Brit sports brand Gola has teamed up with esteemed designer Christian Lacroix for a collection of men’s and women’s footwear that creatively merges high fashion with sport. The four styles, which will become available for the Spring/Summer 2009 season are composed of luxe leathers, vibrant colors, with intricate embroidery and embossing.
