Bring Spring to Your Winter

It may be a little too early to start thinking about spring-y clothes in most places, but you can integrate more warmer weather pieces into your wardrobe right now if you do it correctly! One of my favorites for the task of “bringing spring to winter” is the sequined tank. Perfectly flirty and feminine, this top can dress up any outfit, and it’s just as lovely when worn by itself with a skirt or pair of jeans when the temps do finally warm up! It’s a versatile piece as it does well layered under sweaters and suits but can stand alone as your go-to outfit you wear to the bar.

To integrate it into your wardrobe now, I would recommend the layering approach. Let it be a surprise piece peeking out from an otherwise conservative pantsuit. Pair it with a sheer, oversized v-neck sweater to show off just the right amount of sequins. It can border on “going-out” wear, so be especially careful with how you wear it to the office. But when done right – and tempered with relatively demure and staple outfits – it can work well at work, or for a night out!

And – since it’s sparkly and shiny by itself, you don’t need to worry too much about big accessories as this tank if one that speaks for itself!
