Another quite exciting jewelry designer collaboration is on its way to Target! Anna Sheffield of the jewelry label Bing Bang is launching a limited-edition jewelry collection, Anna Sheffield for Target. Unfortunately, we’ve got to wait the entire summer for it; the collection debuts August 30th and will be available through December 30th. There aren’t any images available of the jewelry line as of it, so we’ve posted some of our favorites from Bing Bang, in hopes of seeing similar items in the Target collection! Stay tuned for more info!

NYU’s Fashion Business Association Spring Fashion Show
As expected, NYU’s Fashion Business Association offered an interesting, well-edited selection of young designers displaying their latest collections. The eight designers who showed their wares spanned both mens and womens design that ranged from street wear to evening. One of FPD’s favorites from the lineup was Menzer Hajiyeva, who showed a small collection focusing on the use of color and form. Her work this season was much more tailored, offering complex tailoring techniques interspersed with modest infusions of color. Overall, I have to compliment the students on all of their work; NYU does not offer a dedicated fashion design program, so all of the student’s work seen in the show had to be created in an extracurricular manner. With a lot of students balancing 18 credits along with internships, jobs, and everything else, it’s quite impression to put together a collection in their “spare” time, which doesn’t really exist when you’re in college!
