Did you spot mysterious posters in downtown Manhattan and Brooklyn subway stations?
Fashion Pulse Daily got an exclusive tip on what the fuss is all about…they’re part of an online puzzle, broken into pieces, and hint hint …a fashion retailer is behind this.
Want to find out more?
If you spot a poster, take a picture and upload it to Twitter or comment on it with the hashtag #undergroundpuzzle or if you haven’t seen a poster yet, you can still join the Twitter conversation (@ugpuzzle) for locations and other puzzle clues as well as to post your thoughts on the campaign. What do you think about the images, and who might be behind this city-wide puzzle? Zac Posen for Target Pop-Up Shop in NYC
We first wrote about the Zac Posen for Target Collection last week, and were excited to find out about the Zac Posen for Target pop-up shop coming to NYC on April 15th to get our Zac shopping started early (collection launches nationwide April on 25th)! The unusual thing about this pop-up shop is that it is a 24-hour event only, from 11pm on April 15th to 11 pm on April 16th. Located at 481 Eighth Avenue (at 34th Street) in NYC, the event will channel the ambiance of a party, with the temporary shop offering the entire collection. We have a feeling certain sizes will sell out rather rapidly, so stay up late or get up early to indulge!

Avon Does Fabulous Jewelry?!? Who Knew!
I was recently given a beautiful necklace that looked amazing on me and garnered quite a bit of compliments, so when I asked my friends over at Attention PR where it had come from, I was shocked to discover it was Avon! The item I reference is the Faux Ivory Glam Statement Necklace, $19.99 (was $24.99) and upon perusing the site, discovered that there were many more baubles I definitely wouldn’t mind wearing, all at extremely reasonable prices. Check out the spring 2010 jewelry from Avon, and I’m sure you’ll find a few other things you want too! A few of my other favorites:
Key to My Heart Necklace, $19.99 (and reminiscent of one by Tiffany’s for a few hundred dollars more!)
Fringe Benefits Draped Chain Necklace, $19.99
Color Burst Ring with Rhinestones, $14.99
And FYI: Avon also sells footwear, handbags, apparel, and accessories.

CORINTHIAN AND CARICATURE: Student Designer, Fabulous Jewelry
One of my students at New York University (I teach at NYU, in case I hadn’t mentioned it before) told me about a fellow student who was behind the line CORINTHIAN AND CARICATURE, a new collection of jewelry that far exceeded my expectations, especially since NYU doesn’t have a formal degree program in jewelry or accessories design. It’s not statement jewelry that you see from this new line but rather all encompassing body jewelry – see for yourself! For buying enquiries, please email Laurendunitz@gmail.com
