Payless Spring 2009 Collections: Get Excited for Fabulous, Affordable Styles!
We recently attended the Payless Spring 2009 preview, and are excited to announce the continuation of fabulous designer styles by the likes of Abaete, Lela Rose, and Alice + Olivia. In addition to the designer collaboration collections that we love, two pleasant new surprises are on the way: a hand-dyed collection by Lela Rose in silhouettes that you will actually want to wear to a wedding or formal occasion and the incredibly innovative (not to mention adorable and afordable) green footwear collection.
We were most impressed with the incredible consideration put into the eco-line, dubbed Zoe & Zac, making everything from the upper materials, soles, rubber, detailing and more in an eco-conscious way. Payless partnered with Summer Rayne Oaks, a model-activist, spokesperson, and consultant in sustainable development to make sure the collection was ground-breaking in the realm of green and stylish. We can’t wait to get at least a few pairs once they hit stores in April of 2009!

Beauty Buzz: Lycra Wear +10 Minerals from Rimmel London, $3.30 at Ulta
With the current state of the economy, we’ve decided to cut back on little things like our beloved manicures. However, the thought of doing our nails (especially the toes) ourselves has always been daunting. For some reason our nails always turn out like clumpy messes! After testing out a variety of nail polishes, we found that the Lycra Wear +10 Minerals from Rimmel London is the perfect fit for us. Due to the addition of the liquid form of the fiber lycra and minerals to each bottle, you don’t need a base or top coat, and the polish dries in just a few minutes so you can go on with your busy lives without any smudges or smears. We were ecstatic to see that our vibrant and sparkly pink color, “Speed Dating,” went on smoothly and evenly, with little effort. The product comes in 21 different colors ranging from a very white “Snow Queen,” to a black “Hypnotise,” and the best part? You can get it at Ulta for only $3.30!
