We were thrilled to be invited to the T-Mobile SLX Sidekick Launch party by friend, fashionista, and blogger extraordinaire Jordana Bruner of Clutch22, and what a fabulous party it was! We kicked it with some friends from Stylista, as well as Dina from eye4style, Sarah from StyleIt and Beka from reLyme. Great people, great atmosphere, and a super chic new Sidekick to fete! The new Sidekick SLX is pretty cool, with features including:
- Built-in applications for Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter among others
- Built-in GPS support with Live Search
- 3.2-megapixel camera with autofocus and an LED flash
- Carbon or orchid finish
- Battery Life: 3G will give you 3 hoursof talk time, 6 days of standby; the 2G provides 5.5 hours talk time and 8 days standby
And much much more fabulousness! I got to check out first-hand what the Facebook application looks like, and I do have to admit that it is a million times easier to read and respond to then on my beloved Blackberry Curve. the phone officially becomes avaialble May 13th, and will retail for $199, but if your just so inclined to be amongst the first to have it, you can preorder now at t-mobile.com.
