St John’s Fall/Winter 2011 collection proved that the label has gone in a new, stylish direction. Traditionally known for its knit suits and cool neutral colors, St. John stepped out of its comfort zone and carefully into the future. With a collection full of anything but dowdy long skirts and a cool silver color palette, it was both refreshing and exciting. St. John now has positive indication of a new direction, thanks to George Sharp, and of offering elegant attire to a new, younger legion of fashion-conscious women.
