Normally I take more time to decide on the Handbag of the Month. I mean, it is a very important decision, after all. However, when I received an email from Bergdorf Goodman advertising the Rose Vertigo Hobo by Valentino, I knew there was no other choice. Yes, the price tag is astounding, but so is the bag. I believe you get what you pay for. And if you can pay $2,395 for this gorgeous Valentino handbag, then you are getting a work of art you will appreciate your entire lifetime. I know I would.
While I’m featuring the red hobo style (it’s my favorite one) this stunning bag comes also as a tote, shopper, satchel and in various colors, such as black, taupe, blue, chocolate, gray and even hot pink. It’s pure love and pure genius.

Rose Vertigo Hobo by Valentino and sold at Bergdorf Goodman. $2,395.00.

Explore your inner moto girl this fall with motorcycle inspired style. With all of the amazing leather jackets and leather vests, studded ankle booties and zippered Alexander Wang handbags there is plenty to choose from. Even if your style is more Upper East Side than Easy Rider I’m sure you’ll be tempted with these irresistible options.
Yes, you’ve been seeing all of the leather motorcycle jackets complete with requisite zippers, asymmetric zipper detailing, chrome studs and buckles. The ultimate daddy of all the biker jackets this season is the Balmain leather motorcycle jacket that is cut to a fitted silhouette with peaked shoulders, epaulets and chain swags.
In addition to the trendsetting Alexander Wang hip belt and McQueen stud textured resin cuff, other motorcycle inspired accessories include the chunky heel Juicy Couture motorcycle boot. This Juicy boot has just the right shape on the toe and the brass studded strapping completes the look. I’ve been wearing my traditional Hunter Wellies for years, but these limited edition Festival Hunter Wellies are giving me an urge to hop on this customized Chanel bike (used by Karl Lagerfeld in a recent photo shoot). I can imagine myself zooming down the Champs-Élysées on this motorcycle wearing the ultimate leather moto jacket from Balmain. Vroom vroom!
Get the look from upper right clockwise:

Putting on lip gloss is really one of the easiest, commitment-free make-up items to apply — no mirror necessary, no time investment, and it travels well. Due to my hectic schedule, I’m always running around, so gloss has been something that I always carry with me, as it moisturizes and gives a dash, or a lot of color.
I recently tested out the Burt’s Bees Super Shiny Lip Gloss in one of the two new shades, Juicy Peach (the other is Sheer Lemon), and found it to have a pleasant citrus scent that wasn’t too overpowering, and felt less sticky/more smooth than other lip glosses I’ve tried. If you’re not a “shine” addict (I’m not) have no fear, the gloss isn’t heavily saturated with color nor sheen, so it’s actually more of a natural look. Burt’s Bees lives up to their eco-friendly standards with the lip gloss; it’s composed of 100% natural ingredients such as sunflower, almond, and castor seed oils, with the packaging made of 25% post-consumer recycled plastic. Retailing for $6.99, its definitely a great bargain compared to other glosses of similar caliber and double the price (but usually minus the natural ingredient factor!).
