Hudson Jeans: Spring 2010 Collection
Last week I attended the fabulous Hudson Jeans blogger event, which was an intimate gathering on a rainy Monday night, with the lovely Peter Kim, President of Hudson Jeans, who definitely kept the light hearted, carefree vibe alive on such a dreary night. The four capsule collections that I saw, however, brightened my mood as well — Minimalist, Resurrection, D.I.Y., and Subversion. My favorite looks from the collection, which I think will be HUGE for spring were the selvage, unwashed darted baggy skinnies from the Minimalism collection, the darted baggy skinny in sun bleach fro the D.I.Y. collection, the skinny cargo in army black from the Subversion collection, and the skinny button fly in oil black from the Resurrection collection. I also was able to take home a pair of ‘jeggings’ which I proceeded to live in all weekend; it had the look of pockets in the front and back, with a stretchy, lightweight, legging fabrication. Hudson is definitely up to some new, fabulous, innovative washes and cuts, so don’t forget to look for at least the styles mentioned above (and pictured below) in the coming months!
