Wherever Did You Get That Dress? Guess…
I love it when my shopping discoveries surprise me; great style does not always have to cost an arm and a leg to achieve – great styling on the other hand? It feels like an art form at times, but when you find a great item that does the talking — styling it with footwear, accessories, and other apparel can be easy breezy! Here, I am wearing the LC Lauren Conrad Floral Babydoll Dress, on sale for $44 (was $60) from Kohl’s, paired with a key necklace from ModCloth.com and snap shoes by Lindsay Phillips. I love the texture and water brushed print of this dress, that also has soft bodice structure and two thin straps, which I actually prefer to wear tucked inside, converting the dress to a strapless one. Intrigued by this look? Check out more of the LC Lauren Conrad Collection for Kohl’s here.

Norma Kamali for Wal-Mart: Summer Collection 2010
I’ve been a long-time admirer of Norma Kamali; she is one of my most favorite designers as she is extremely innovative, creative, totally ahead of her time, and modest — a rare trait found in designers these days! I’ve been buying pieces of her Wal-Mart collection since its inception about a year and a half ago, and must say that I’m impressed with the cuts and quality — with pretty much everything under $20! My most recent acquisition was the One-Shoulder Maillot Swimsuit for $20 (pictured above)- and fits me like a dream (I swear – I didn’t even try it on in the store!)
My other favorite pics from the new collection:
Shirred Column Print Jersey Dress, $20
Organic Cotton Knit Capri Jumpsuit, $15
Shirred Column Print Jersey Dress, $20
Tie-Dye Leggings, $10
