Two identical bags – one major price difference! Can you tell which bag costs $2.250, and which is $40? If so, what gives it away? I haven’t done one of these in a while, so I thought it would be fun to see what you think! The answer will be announced on Monday, October 11th.

Let me give it a try, bag #2 is 40.
I can see the flaws on the handle of the bag,
Please double check $ 2,255/see content.
We need the answer. Cheers!
I would say the top is the $40 bag because of the way it shines (too consistent, and has a bit of the haze that fake leather has?) and the bottom one is the $2250 bag (real leather won’t be as consistent and won’t shine like the way fake leather does). But what do I know? I’ll wait until the answer is revealed…
I think bag #2 is $40. Bag #1 definitely looks like the Fendi; the handles might be what gives it away. Can’t wait to see the results!
I think that #2 is the designer bag. I think that the hardware on #2 looks nicer than bag #1. The leather in the second bag seems to have a more distinctive shape, and stiching than the 1st one. Both are nice bags I would be interested to know which is which!
I think the first one is $40 and the second one is $2250. The first one is way too shiny and the second is made of leather (it appears).
I say bag #2 is the designer bag; the leather looks like leather and the details are a bit more crisp; that or the photo quality could just be better than the first one! Can’t wait to see results!
I think the second one is $40 because of the handle being bent like that and the first one $2250. Also, I think the lighting for the first one is just better photography, as would occur with more expensive items! Maybe? I don’t know…
Bag 1 looks like the imposter….please reveal!!
The first bag is the $2250, the second is the $40 one. The first bag has metal detailing where the handle attaches and the top corners have a better shape.
But above all, the lighting and digital touch-ups on the first bag are better. The second bag is very dark – a lot of the details are lost in silhouette. It could have done with a soft fill light from near the camera to flesh out the closure and the seams. For digital re-touching, I’m not sure they did more than crop the second bag – it shows some wrinkles/folds that would be shopped out if they we looking to sell it for $2250.
