Every fragrance has a story, which results in a carefully executed combination of notes and bottle that reflect the brand’s heritage and reputation, but also its future. With the second fragrance launch from Jimmy Choo, Jimmy Choo FLASH, the Creative Director Sandra Choi channeled adrenaline, power, sensuality and effervescence, all packed into one gorgeously carved crystal bottle, inspired by a 1970s modernist chandelier. The name and hue of the fragrance takes a cue from the flashbulbs of the paparazzi and warm glow of ultraviolet night club lights, and although a certain confidence and sexuality is certainly present in the new scent, it easily translates to any scenario the Jimmy Choo woman finds herself in.
With top notes of pink pepper and strawberry, the fragrance is delicious and light, while going deeper into the emerging heart notes, the tuberose, jasmine and white lily add a solid sophistication to the combination, and finally, topping off with base notes of heliotrope and white woods sustain this fragrance with a touch of subtle seduction that will endure the day. I absolutely love this fragrance, which I find to be a luxe, statement fragrance for day, and can’t wait to embark on a lovely evening with the fiancè at The Darby, followed by dancing in the Meatpacking District while wearing this scent.
Jimmy Choo FLASH is available now, exclusively at Nordstrom; the 3.3 fl. oz Eau de Parfum is $98; 2 fl. oz Eau de Parfum $75; 6.7 fl. oz body lotion $46; and 6.7 fl. oz perfumed shower gel $38.
