A wallet purchase is a very personal decision; at least for me, it must meet specific criteria, as it is something that is used multiple times per day, every day, until it’s either lost or falls apart. It’s much like a wedding ring or cell phone — it will constantly be on hand, no matter where you are or what you’re doing. I actually have a wallet “graveyard;” a drawer in which the contents include various knick knacks, with wallets that have been given to me as gifts and just aren’t up to par for the needs that I have. Those needs: must be small enough to fit into a zippered wallet or cell phone pouch in all of my handbags, must have some sort of pouch or zippered compartment, a bright, easy-to-spot color for ease of quickly finding it in a handbag, and plenty of space for my various credit, gift, and business cards, and oh yeah; it should be sleek, look and be well-made, and stylish! To me, it doesn’t seem like too much to ask for, but the hunt for this ‘dream’ wallet has been ongoing for a year, leaving my current wallet in a state of decrepit decay, too embarrassing to even display a photo of its status.
Luckily, it has finally been found! I first saw the Henri Bendel Studded Mini Wallet ($98) at a press preview, and waited with baited breathe until it came out in-store and online this past week. Available in three colors, it measures in at a cool 3.25×3.25″, meets all of my requirements, and has a cowhide leather, soft pebble effect finish. It’s absolutely stunning, and I’m anticipating it will wear quite well, and I might even pick up the the matching Henri Bendel Carlyle Tote or Carlyle Small Barrel Bag!
Omg. It’s SO you! I love it!!!
Thanks Laura! 🙂
