The most popular accessories that have emerged for this upcoming spring 2017 season have been anything but subtle or minimalist. Looking back at the Spring/Summer 2017 fashion week shows, designers mainly chose statement jewelry, bags, and other accessories to complement the looks in their collections. The most prominent looks to keep an eye out for include statement earrings, oversized handbags, wide belts, skinny scarves, platform footwear, and chokers.

Both Balenciaga and Marni included oversized bags for spring in their shows, while Roberto Cavalli and Lanvin kept the choker trend moving along with large, beaded versions in their collections.
