The Tiffany Peacock pendant (pictured above) features an oval tanzanite, cuperian elbaite tourmalines, and diamonds in platinum — it was definitely the show piece of the night and a blogger favorite from the Tiffany & Co 2011 preview! However, there were many more pieces that were truly so unique and displayed the signature artisan designs and heritage of Tiffany that if I had the opportunity to buy them all — I would! The mood was also set by the ingenious artisan workshop display (see last two photos) which gave us an insider’s view into the world of fine jewelry-making.
Favorites from the collection included the Elsa Peretti bottle pendants and hand painted watercolor Torque bangles in bone China by Frank Gehry for Tiffany & Co. The Tiffany diamond bracelets were sparkling with the highest shine wattage I’ve ever seen, while the silver bangle bracelets with lock details could easily flow with anything in my wardrobe .
