Initiated in 2009 as an event to celebrate fashion and give a much-needed boost of confidence and cash to the fashion industry, Fashion’s Night Out was a spectacular success and is back for its second year. Hundreds of stores will be open late, and they’ll be hosting tons of events: celebrity appearances, fashion shows, discounts, visits from the designers themselves — the night will truly be a celebration of all things fashion. In addition to aiding the fashion financial sector, an important New York charity will also get a boost, the New York City AIDS Fund.
