It’s kind of unbelievable how long the boho trend has been going on, but it does make sense when you consider how it represents an ease of getting dressed and generally being quite comfortable when wearing the vast majority of its pieces. The concept of “festival attire” is so huge these days and clearly ties into the trend, but when attending one may be more of an anomaly in your life rather than the routine norm, boho needs to prep and evolve for steady weekend use instead. Borrowing one ore two elements from it (the blouse, the bag) and working it into what I already regularly wear makes it more “me,” appropriate for a variety of occasions, and way less costume-y.
