I recently took in the spring/summer 2012 collection for Talbots, which with each passing season, seems to grow stronger and stronger with it’s fashion stories. Color plays a huge part for spring 2012, and we can’t help but love the continuation of Talbots’ brightly colored heels and flats in embossed leather as well as equipped with hardware detailing. Scarves grow into vibrant statement pieces, while ikat prints and nautical-striped garments are paired together to breathe fresh life into both 2012 trends. Neon accents, such as a lime green pencil skirt and pointy toe pumps popped with electric pink accents infuse a much-needed dose of personality and style into the work day.
