Rent The Runway is coming to life with it’s first ever showroom opening in Henri Bendel’s iconic Fifth Avenue flagship store. Now you can experience their innovative rental system for the latest designer dresses and accessories from over 175 brands while working with a personal stylist to find the perfect outfit for any occasion. With it’s first actual brick and mortar location, customers will now be able to try on dresses before they rent them and have the option of either reserving rentals for future events or renting directly from the showroom. Each fitting room will be equipped with a scanner and iPad for their stylist to scan each dress tried on which will upload to the customer’s “Virtual Closet.”
Customers can add notes to each dress they try on, and later view their closet at any time on www.renttherunway.com for future reference when booking rentals, and can book an appointment online at www.renttherunway.com/henribendel.
Save time and it hasn’t been done already, create a profile, including personal information such as size, shape and style preferences so that each stylist can use it to create a look that makes each client look and feel THE best. Walk-in appointments are also welcome! With this new venture, Rent The Runway is certainly blending the best of the online world with an in-store experience.
