Before you scratch your head, let me explain: yogurt is rich in essential vitamins, lactose, proteins, lactose acid and lipids, which can be just as good soaking into your skin as it is ingesting it. Combined with Aveeno’s Active Naturals Oatmeal, it makes a blockbuster body wash and moisturizer.
The Daily Moisturizing Body Yogurt Lotion features the Activbind Complex for long-lasting moisture that can leave skin hydrated for 48 hours, while the Body Wash includes Natrasurf technology to aid in gently cleansing skin without stripping it of its essential oils. Who knew that blackberries could hold the key to amazing, youthful skin? AVEENO‘s new blackberry complex is the key ingredient in its new Absolutely Ageless line of five products (pic here of the four others!): Restorative Night Cream, Daily Moisturizer with Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 30, a Nourishing Cleanser, Intensive Renewal Serum, and Eye Cream. It provides extreme nourishment thanks to its hydrating and antioxidant properties, and works to reduce elastin and collagen loss, two surefire signs of aging. Sensitive skin, why must you complicate things? My skin is sensitive, fair, and dry, so finding the right balance in these things can be rather tricky, to say the least. I recently tested the AVEENO Active Naturals Ultra-Calming Nourishing Night Cream, which provides soothing relief for dry, irritated skin thanks to its signature Active Naturals Oat, and the ingredient Feverfew, in the family of Chamomile, utilized for centuries for its skin calming properties (see here for a list of ingredients and their benefits). The formula is a fragrance free rich cream, easily blended into the face and neck, capable of getting the hydration balance back in one overnight use. Night time is the best time to repair the skin, as your skin is at rest and has time to peacefully recover, so this formulation via a night cream application makes a lot of sense. I enjoyed using it liberally, but not that much is necessary to achieve lasting effects.
