Color Me‘s new sonic makeup applicator ($68), which launched exclusively last week at Net-a-Porter, simulates a makeup artist’s “tapping” of blending in the foundation, powder, moisturizer, cc or bb cream into the skin for a smooth, flawless look. The tapping comes by way of 15,000 sonic pulses per minute, distributed through a universal sponge applicator that is exclusive to this model.
Three really great attributes of this device are #1: it comes with a lithium battery that doesn’t need to be charged, and #2: it works with any kind of liquid or powder coverage you are already using and loving. The #3 is the tear drop-shape of the sponges, to aptly fit around the nose and eyes, and can be used for up to 30 times before needing to be replaced (replacements are sold in packages of two for $12).
