There’s nothing that says summer quite like some new fab launches from Maybelline!
Let’s kick it off with my most beloved of all launches for this May – the Limited Edition Bleach Neon Shades by Color Show! Muted neons are THE new way to wear brights, and luckily you can match your apparel and accessories to your beauty products quite easily now.
Available this month ONLY, the seven shades are perfectly on trend for the spring/summer color palette, and is available in Day Glow Teal, Ultra Violet, Lime Accent, Citrus Collide, Bleached in Peach (my fave!), Pink Punch, and Coral Heat. At mass market retailers nationwide and costing only $3.99 a piece, I think have a feeling that you will be buying…as many as you can carry over to the register!
BB Cream is getting more sophisticated all of the time, and now it’s reached new heights of helpfulness via the new Dream Pure BB Cream, which is designated specifically for skin prone to blemishes. The 2% salicylic acid is a hearty treatment to help clear acne while hydrating, hiding imperfections, evening tone, minimizing pores, reducing redness, smoothing, clarifying, and overall making the skin look and feel sumptuous. Vitamins C and E help to nourish the skin, while the overall formulation is oil-free and lightweight. Banish blemish-related skin concerns for good with this all-in-one product, available starting in June 2014 in five shades at a suggested retail price of $8.99.

Yay for Maybelline Color Show Nail Lacquer! At just $3.99 each, you can buy as many as you can carry and STILL have enough left over to pick up some other new goodies from Maybelline that just launched as well! Featuring hot new shades and nail trends, the latest debut of the Color Show lineup has the Street Art Collection, five great shades that channel graffiti, paint splatters, texure and overall, an urban cool vibe (see above, at left), as well as 28 new on-trend shades with colors from the runway including Better in Buff, Taupe on Trend, Midnight Blue, Home Sweet Chrome, Emerald City, and Crushed Clementine. (above, at right) You’ll still be able to shop the 20 classic shades such as Paint the Town, Coral Crush and Orange Fix, but now have more options to mix and match, experiment, and create fab new nail looks, like this one Honey for Maybelline did for me last week.

Wherever I may be, a Maybelline product is guaranteed to be close by, as I’ve become extremely attached to practically everything the brand has whipped up, lamenting when items become discontinued or the limited edition no longer available, but quickly forgotten as new favorite come into the mix. Maybelline truly never disappoints, and for the price point, always offers incredibly innovative technology and value.
Without further ado, I present the amazing goodies, picture in the slideshow above, and described below, that land in stores nationwide this June and July:

Inspired by the looks from the runway, Maybelline has created several FABULOUS limited edition nail options for the month of November. We are most excitecd about the Color Show Fashion Prints Nail Stickers, available in eight patterns including Fiece N Fuchsia, Midnight Lace, Wild Reptile, Metal Prisms, Cheetah Chic Sapphire Jewels, Divine Crocodile, and Resort Couture. If you’ve never used nail stickers before — it is so fast and easy – I’ve done them at my desk minutes before an event, and they work like a charm.
Here’s Maybelline’s application steps: 1.Select a sticker that best fits each nail. 2. Lay the sticker over the bare nail and apply a little pressure over the entire surface of the nail using the cuticle stick 3. Fold the spare top of sticker over nail tip and file away the extra length of sticker in a downward motion.
The second bit of excitement is the Sequins by Color Show Nail Lacquer, which is comprised of five gorgeous, dazzling shades of Ruby Rhinestones, Lavender Sparks, Silver Gleam, Gold’s Night Out, Sea-Quins, Rose Bling, Sapphire Masquerade and Cocktail Dress. Again, just for a limited time, this mini collection will look great layered over a neon, a neutral, or by themselves or your nails.
[I tried out the Cheetah Chic stickers and two Sequins shades courtesy of Maybelline this week!]
Retail prices are $7.99 for the Fashion Prints Nail Stickers and $3.99 for Sequins at mass market retailers . Remember, you ca only snag these stylish nail options during the month of November!
