I am currently obsessing over Rebecca Taylor’s Spring/Summer 2011 line! The collection has an urban chic vibe filled with fun and flirty ruffles. Rebecca Taylor’s style, cut, and colors such as the blush tones of pink, blue, and lavender lend the collection a supremely feminine feel. The 1970’s inspiration with a modern twist flatters every body type, from ankle-length dresses in an edgy leopard print to floral tunics and structured trench coats paired with high-waisted denim. The bold colors, pretty prints, and lightweight fabrics are a great addition to your summer wardrobe for weekend getaways or during sunny workdays. And the best part? You can shop this collection in stores now!
Thinking ahead, here’s also a sneak peek at the Winter/Holiday 2011 collection. Rebecca Taylor stays true to her roots of femininity and fun.

Mr. Burrows is back! The collection for fall 2009, dubbed “Bankable Burrows” smartly captured the items that will lead women into future cold-weather seasons with ease, getting the most bang for their buck with quality investment pieces in the form of capes, unique prints, and well-tailored pants and skirts. To turn a blind eye to the current state of affairs would have one hearing the sound of cash registers ringing up sales even less frequently; Burrows understands the value of a solid, salable collection, yet doesn’t let it restrict his creativity or panache. The looks, complimented by Christian Louboutin leapard booties and Robert Lee Morris jewelry prove that classic design with a bit of a twist never goes out of style.

One of the prominent trends spotted on the spring 2009 runway was most definitely leopard print. We saw the wild design in a spectrum of colors and speckled across everything from Louis Vuitton bags to Zac Posen dresses. Whether it’s a cocktail party or a day at the beach, these cool spots will certainly add some spice to your look.
We’ve gone on to find a variety of pieces flaunting this wild print — all for under $150!
The purple leopard print on this Sequin Safari Minidress, ($24.80 Forever 21), updates an otherwise ordinary
going out dress, while the Leopard Lawn Annette Blouse, ($78, J.Crew), vamps up a modest look. Plan on keeping warm in this Black& Merino Leopard Print Cardigan ($88, Ann Taylor) or the Parfait Animal Print Cardigan ($118, Nordstrom). For the perfect accessory, this Dooney & Bourke Leopard Checkbook Clutch, on sale for $138.75 at Dillard’s, will lend even the classiest girl some wild cat edge, or try the NYC by Perlina Reversible Leopard Print Tote ($59.99, Target). No matter what item you choose, you’ll definitely be equipped with one of the most popular trends for 2009!
