Through the highlights of her career and through her tougher times, Kate Moss has been Longchamp‘s face for the past eight seasons. It is no surprise then, especially considering the overwhelming wave of designer collaborations the fashion industry has seen in recent years (just think about how many “X for Target” alerts have been found in your inbox), that Longchamp has launched a new collection designed by the model-muse. It only takes a glance at the titles of the collection’s three parts – Rock ‘N Casual, Rock ‘N Travel and Rock ‘N Glam – to figure out what this collaboration brings together: Kate Moss’ characteristic rocker chic and Longchamp’s famous brand of travel luxury. While the collection seems a lot more classic than strictly rock, the studs, zebra print and bohemian trimmings certainly call to mind the style icon’s penchant for fur, washed-out tones and cut-off denim. A little pricey, perhaps, but don’t forget, this is a collaboration: on top all that Kate Moss-ness is also Longchamp’s fine leather, classic designs, and travel-friendly sizes.
