For the second installment of Fashion’s Night Out , I decided to head downtown to SoHo, as last year I wondered around Midtown, hitting up a bunch of stores on Fifth Avenue and Midtown East (Bloomingdale’s, Christian Siriano at Payless, etc). I’m glad I headed south, as the streets were literally teeming with people; cars couldn’t even make their way through the people gridlock, as pedestrians flooded the streets from 6-11pm. There was an overall jovial vibe, and although I didn’t see many shopping bags in hand, people seemed to be having a good time, and patient at some of the locations that had an extremely long line.
My stops included:
- UGG Australia, on display were the new Jimmy Choo for UGG collaboration
- Piperlime pop-up shop
- Club Monaco
- Rebecca Taylor (Bobbi Brown Makeovers!)
- Modo Eyewear
- Sigerson Morrison
- Ralph Lauren
- Victoria’s Secret
Piperlime and Chanel win the award for the longest line in SoHo, with easily 300+ people waiting to get in!
